Xicato’s cutting edge LED lighting and controls were primed for a revolution. Starting from a blocky, labor-intense custom coding control interface, developed in house for every application, we envisioned a user-customized drag-and-drop app with partitioned access for varied user levels, integration with multiple types of sensor, and the ability to make individual dashboards for rapid access to the most frequently needed settings.
The biggest challenge was catering to a wide variety of user needs; the controls needed to be functional and intuitive for small scale installations with less than 10 components, up to large scale and multi-faceted installations with dozens of components, including sensors, timers, and light options.

I have extensive experience implementing and optimizing CRM systems across diverse industries. At Xicato, I orchestrated a comprehensive Salesforce platform overhaul, and integration with Fishbowl MRP. I created and implemented Dynamic Dashboards for the separate departments, wrote SOP’s for role-specific platform usage, and leveraged metrics to drive performance improvements. The result was a 47% growth in visible sales pipeline within 6 months and a 200% increase in employee Salesforce usage.
